The village is surrounded by stunning countryside.  There are many walking routes ranging from easystrolling routes to more challenging walks of over 10 miles.

Beautiful Walks

Records on Woburn are from 969, as a Saxon Hamlet and in the Doomsday Book of 1086.  The name derives from the Saxon word 'wo' meaning crooked and 'burn', a small stream.
